our history

founded in 2012 in Lithuania

Kelias į Laisvę ("The Way to Freedom") brought together several dozens of enthusiasts who can't leave without help people in difficult life situations.

The organization started its activities in Russia and later spread to Europe and Asia.

Having started its activity in 2012 informally, as an independent movement of citizens not indifferent to the grief of others, in 2019 the organization was officially registered in Lithuania, which opened new opportunities for our activities.
Our organization provides social assistance:

  • 1. People who are addicted to drugs and alcohol. Since its establishment, more than 1,000 people have gone through adaptation centres and more than 400 have been freed from addiction, more than 100 families have been established and more than 30 families have been restored. Many of these guys remained volunteers with the organization because they could not remain indifferent to the people as they were. Now they are full-fledged citizens of our city, who have fully restored their social status and are making a useful contribution to the society by taking active part in the prevention activities.
  • 2. People living with HIV and their relatives.
  • 3. low-income families and families with low social status, as well as children from orphanages and boarding schools. Every year we hold charitable Christmas events aimed at collecting gifts for children from low-income families;
  • 4. People without a fixed place of residence and occupation.
